Hook Line and Sinker

I became a jeweler which means I shelled out over $500.00 off the bat to sell jewelry. First off my upper lead as I will call her took 2 months to contact me to set up a time to go everything I received in my kit. One visit and 2 hours of time. I eventually before the 2 months was up figured some things out myself but was doing it incorrectly and was losing money. I was supposed to be contacted by my local "mom" in the town I live in, this NEVER happened. I did attend two meetings as my lead let me know of the meetings. I was completely ignored, I am assuming because I did not fit their click as they made this perfectly clear. In the first 90 days I was able to book 7 parties, non of which produced over $200.00 in sales and I lost money as I was paying $15.00 $25.00 out of my own pocket to ship peoples orders as well as magazines that I had to purchase as well for people who wanted a magazine but NEVER booked a party. This was $5-$6 a pop. After 90 days I emailed a survey to friends & family, the consciences from people was the jewelry was over priced for what it was, the pictures in the magazines were ugly so the jewelry was unappealing to begin with, and lastly as I have seen with my own kit jewelry, the rings tarnish with little wear, the necklaces tangle to easily and then break, and the quality is cheap. $60.00 for fake beads are you kidding me was one example I received- After 6 months I called it quits and just started to buy jewelry for people because as a jeweler I can buy at half price- made not a dime off any sales because I did not have the heart to charge more then what I was getting this crap for. I am now over 1500.00 w a credit card them, as well as a huge chunk of my own money for this and that as it was told to me in one of the click meetings that you need to have nails done, hair perfect and always look presentable in wardrobe, make sure you wear that jewelry proud-!! all for a total of $760.00 in profit. Would never refer this company to any one and cannot wait until I never have to make another payment to them- They have no leadership skills unless maybe you are in their upper management or part of their click.. Pretty sure Jesus did not have a click..

I am very sorry that your up-line was incredibly rude to you. Please know that not all up-lines are that way.

I have been with Premiere for 5 years, I am making good money, and I have a wonderful up-line.

Premier Designs is an incredible company to represent. What happened to you is NOT Premier's fault it is the woman who was supposed to be your mentor.

people need to read the fine print most things are coated.... and some is genuine.

I've been a loyal customer for over 5 years and like I said people don't concider what coating means. of course its tarnished its coated .

My STERLING ring is just that sterling not coated and I've worn it for 5 years no issue. read the fine print....

I am so sorry that you had a bad experience! Did you contact the jeweler who sold it to you?

Premier has a guarantee on ALL of their products. They will replace a piece that has a manufacture's defect.

If you do not know who your jeweler is, the contact information should be on your pink receipt. If you do not have a receipt, call Premier directly and they will be happy to help you get a replacement.

Poor Quality -- don't stand behind their product

I purchased the Newport necklace about 1 year ago. It broke after only wearing it a few times. I called customer service and told them I no longer had the receipt, but the representative told me I could return it. So I mailed in the necklace along with a letter with my contact information and never received the replacement necklace and never heard back from the company. I called again and was asked if I sent the $7 service fee plus sales tax along with the necklace - I was never told I had to do this and explained that to the representative. She then said they had no record of receiving the necklace. So now I am out $39 for a necklace. The representative basically was telling me that since they had no record of receipt or tracking number they couldn't do anything. Don't buy anything from this company - very poor customer service and apparently despite what they tell you at the home parties, they DO NOT stand behind their products.

Just why????

Everything I bought from Premier is crap. I can get better jewelry for much less at the actual grocery. The stones fall out immediately. The metal breaks. The finish of the metal wears off quickly. Contact your salesperson? The person who sold you the junk? Come on! They are already out of the business three weeks later, because it's a pyramid scheme.

Yes, I have 7 items out of about 20 I have purchased NEW that are defective, broke, and/or tarnished! I emailed a complaint letter with pictures to Premier Jewelry 3 months ago, and nothing.

I cannot find a local consultant. Terrible customer service on defective jewelry!

Never again! I am trying again will I do business with Premier Jewelry unless they fix this problem.

DO YOUR RESEARCH.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was approached by an acquaintance to "host" a jewelry party AND to become a "jeweler". I thought the opportunity sounded interesting, so being a lawyer I told her I wanted to do my research first. However, her and her "premier" mama pressured me so hard trying to get me to sign on with a $600 startup fee that day! I was bombarded with texts and calls from this lady. I have read several sites now about Premier designs jewelry and MLMs (multi-level marketing companies). My conclusion: IT IS A SCAM. All you have to do is google MLMs or Premier designs jewelry complaints and you will get more than enough research that supports the fact that YOU WILL NOT MAKE MONEY DOING THIS!! This company scams people out of their money for various things (website fees, catalogs and order forms, annual fee) and if you do the math, you will not make any money compared to your expenses. The jewellery also looks nice in the brochure, but it is highly marked up! You do better getting jewellery on sale from Kohl's, Macy's or Express. Also, think about it, you will not get anyone to buy expensive jewellery every month to even cover your monthly expenses. I did not appreciate how pushy these women were. Especially, the hard sell that came way above my acquaintance, who debated me on facts and almost made me want to yell at her the way she was speaking to me. Don't give in ladies. Find other ways to make money. Get a part-time job. Do not give away your hard earned cash to people who have created a scheme to profit off your ambition, drive and desire to gain some extra income.

I bought a Watch, the white one and I tried getting a new battery for it and it still doesn't work. Yes I got the right size but still nothing. I bought it about 2 years ago and they say it has a lifetime warranty. What do I do?

Premier has a warranty against manufacture's defects. You may want to call the jeweler who sold it to you.

If you do not have a pink receipt and do not know who your jeweler is, call Premier and ask them about the battery. If you recently bought the watch, the battery should not have died so quickly.

Not founded on bible

this company will sell cheap product and they say founded on bible principals. no where in the bible can I find it is ok to charge a sales person that returns the product 29% interest on product not returned. I believe the sales person should pay for the unreturned product and even a little interest but 29% is comparable to buying a car at a buy here pay here lot. also a late payment charge of 38 dollars. All you people can be compared to in the Bible is the money changers at the temple and if you remember Christ drove them out with a whip. So please do not claim you are founded on Christian principals. you are founded on the principal of how much money is enough for you.

Expensive costume jewelry

I recently purchased several pieces of this jewelry. The items I bought have turned color via fading and the rings discolored after only 5 or 6 wears. The jewelry is nice looking but does not last at all. Save your money. {{REDACTED}}

Some good some bad

All of the rings I purchased tarnished in the first 65 days, and that's before I wore them. The earnings made my ears hurt, itch, and swell, very aggravating. Thank God I didn't buy any necklaces. The beaded bracelets seem ok, but who can go wrong with beads. The jewelry does not go bad until after the return period is over. So I suggest opening and trying the jewelry within the first two weeks. Don't wait like I did and find it tarnishing in the box. On the up side, the sales person was great, and I had a lot of fun at the hostess party I was at. OH the free gifts I got for purchasing over $250.00 worth of jewelry was a plus. They have pretty jewelry, but the cost and the lost are sooooo not worth it.

I am sorry that you seem to have had a bad experience with your jewelry from Premier Designs. I believe that there was some miscommunication regarding the guarantee.

Premier Designs actually prides ourselves on the Golden Guarantee. If something is wrong with your jewelry due to a manufacturing defect, wrong size, not what you expected, etc, you can exchange it for a new piece or different piece within 60 days of purchase for no cost. IF after 60 days, these things warrant a return / exchange, Premier still honors these under the Golden Guarantee, you just have to pay a $7 fee. Our jewelry is high fashion jewelry and has to be cared for as such.

Don't wear your jewelry when you Shower, Swim, Sweat (a true work-out), Sleep or Spray (with perfumes, hairsprays, etc). A great tip to keep your jewelry looking great is to add a piece of chalk in your jewelry box! It helps to keep moisture from damaging your jewelry. (This tip is helpful with ANY jewelry).

If your rings tarnished while in your jewelry box and you hadn't even worn them, they certainly qualified to be exchanged under the golden guarantee. I apologize for your experience and I hate that you felt like the pieces that you have were not quality pieces. There have been several returns / exchanges that I have processed for my customers, but only one in the past 2 months time where it did appear to be a quality issue. It was a fairly severe kink in a chain.

All of the others have been size issue (ex. bangle too large / too small, earrings that were larger than they had expected, etc). I personally own several pieces that are 2 years old, which is when I was first introduced to the company. I have only been a jeweler for 6 months.

Each piece that I purchase or earn goes in my jewelry box. I wear jewelry every day (especially when I leave the house.. it's great advertising!), and ALSO use to demonstrate at my shows and other selling events. It is passed around by ladies, tried on often and worn by me frequently.

They have withstood all of this. I am curious how many pieces you have that you felt were poor quality and / or tarnished. Just trying to think of what would cause this... such as a manufacturing defect, a "bad" batch of something (?), etc.

I wish you all the best and hope that you will take this information and feel comfortable contacting your jeweler about it. I cannot imagine that any of our jewelers wouldn't want to make this right for you.

The rudest & most unprofessional event I've ever been to

Well I will start by saying that the only reason I went this event this past Saturday is because Friday night I ran into a lady I know at the store who was all upset about her friends not coming to her jewelry party. (As she claimed) She invited me. I really didn't feel up to going. My husband talked me into it because he felt bad for her. He told me I should go for support. We both did let her know that I wouldn't be able to buy anything at the party. She said she was perfectly fine with that. So the next day when I went there was a lot of vehicles in her yard. I was surprised since she made it out like hardly anyone would show up. I get in the her house to find a room full of women. Like either 7 or 8 to be exact. She had close to ten people there. When the presentation started she had me come up as a volunteer. I really saw a whole different side to this lady. She asked my name & when I told it to her she made unprofessional remarks that it she thinks it's a weird name. Was pretty embarrassing. Well throughout the event I was polite & supportive. When the presentation was over I took a picture of a pair of earrings I thought was pretty I planned on seeing about buying from her in the future. I called my husband to let him know the party was over. The woman over the hostess got all curious about me getting ready to leave. She called this woman her Premier Mom. The Premier Mom then hassles me about doing a hostess party through them. I explained to them I don't know anyone who I could invite. I'm not from around there. They then talked me into possibly giving it a shot to sell on Facebook as an event. Well I explained to the hostess (the lady that invited me) that I'm not at all familiar with how any of this works. She pretty much invited herself to come to my house the next day to show me. When my husband got there I went to leave. As I did the Premier Mom ask loud across the room at me if I was asking my husband about the earrings so I can help with the hostess party. It was really embarrassing. Everyone in the room was staring at me. I just told her I couldn't afford to right now & left. Dropped off the order forms & catalogs at the hostess house yesterday. Just very unprofessional & rude behavior. Definitely don't want anything to do with the woman that invited me ever again. After reading more about how this is a pyramid scheme & how upset a lot of ex Premier Designs sellers are with this company then it's definitely a blessing in disguise. If they would have played this off in a fake positive experience then I would of been apart of the madness. I guess for what made an irritating weekend did save me from a really worst experience in the long run. Yes, this is a pyramid scheme. If at these events they don't take no for an answer then that's a really big sign. Nobody should be pressured into doing something they aren't sure about. Just be careful because I'm sure there are other Premier Designs sellers that are much better at their job at getting more to join. Those two old gals there just didn't know how to act professional apparently.

I've been a Jeweler for 3 years and I don't believe any of that happened. Also, pyramid schemes are illigal.

We have perfect ratings with the BBS. I do this full time so I can stay at home with my children. People who don't understand direct sales say the same thing. Your regular job is a pyramid!

You'll never make more money than your boss. But I can make more money than my premier mother. There's no cap and I keep all of my earnings. I don't share my earrings with my upline!!

All it is, is sales! Learn before you bash.

The Premier jewelry is so ugly and overpriced. It costs the same as Kendra Scott and those are so much prettier and in style.

Disappointed

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I was a premier designs jewelry rep for a year. At first I was in love with hosting parties and getting my jewelry half off. After awhile I would get at least two women a month returning jewelry because of quality. I.E breaking, awful penny smell and tarnishing. The ladies that persuaded me to become a jeweler were so sweet and nice at first. They have training shows once a month with the same scheme to get people suckered into buying this garbage. If you couldn't make it or didn't want to come they would call and pester you till you felt guilty. They always have these rallies where they basically brainwash you into thinking your really changing women's lives by selling Walmart quality jewelry with a department store price. I've lost a friendship over this because I wasn't having enough shows to basically make her money off of my sales. Now that I don't have shows anymore these "so called Christian ladies" won't even speak to me or say a word to me around town.

You should contact the jeweler you purchased the ring from. She will be able to replace it for you.

If it is within the first 60 days it's free. If it's after that, it's $5+tax
